== Historia y contexto == La EcoRed Cheste-Chiva-Hoya de Buñol se enmarca dentro del [[Historia de las monedas sociales en España#Expansión inicial de las monedas sociales en España|movimiento de monedas sociales y redes de intercambio que han surgido en España en las últimas décadas, especialmente tras la crisis económica de 2008]]. Esta red forma parte de la '''XXIV ([[Xarxa de Xarxes d'Intercanvi Valencianes]])''', una coordinadora que agrupa a varias redes de intercambio de la Comunidad Valenciana. La comarca de la Hoya de Buñol-Chiva está compuesta por doce municipios: Alborache, Buñol, Cheste, Chiva, Dos Aguas, Godelleta, Macastre, Millares, Siete Aguas, Turís, Yátova y Cortes de Pallás. Esta zona es conocida por su riqueza natural, histórica y cultural, así como por su tradición agrícola y vinícola.
