La documentaci贸n de calendari.cc se帽ala que Gancio es mantenido por el colectivo italiano ''underscore hacklab''. La instancia de calendari.cc utiliza actualmente Gancio 1.28.2. La documentaci贸n de Gancio describe el programa como una agenda compartida para comunidades locales y contempla nodos vinculados a territorios o comunidades tem谩ticas peque帽as. Gancio permite exportar los eventos mediante [[RSS]] y [[iCalendar|iCal]], incrustarlos en otras p谩ginas web y distribuirlos mediante [[ActivityPub]]. El software se distribuye bajo la licencia [[GNU Affero General Public License|AGPL-3.0]]. Seg煤n la documentaci贸n de calendari.cc, el servidor no se encuentra alojado en una nube o centro de datos comercial, sino en una infraestructura comunitaria y autogestionada.
